Skiing and Family!!!!

Uncle Ryan, Aunt Naomi, Mia, Sasha, and Isla arrived at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday night and it has been a party ever since.  On Monday we got up and went to Snowbird.  I got Alegra in a kinder bird class and Cruz, Mia, Sasha and one of their friends shared a private instructor.  Lexi and I came down the mountain and grocery shopped and did some errands.  That night we went to grammy's to hot tub and eat some take out Thai Food.  On Tuesday I dropped off Lexi at Grammy's very early to help Grammy babysit Farrah, who was coming to Grammy's to stay that day with David and Rebecca.  Then we all headed up to ski.  Shawn even took the day off of work.  Algera was in kinder bird again with Isla and Cruz, Sasha, and one of their friends had a day private lesson.  2 other couple that Ryan and Naomi knew were at Snowbird too so all the adults skied together.  There were 8 of us total.  It was  such a fun ski day.  Rebecca ended up coming up at the end of lunch and boarded the second half of the day.  Tuesday night we made reservations up at El Chanata, the Mexican food place, up at Snowbird.  My mom, Lexi, David, and Farrah came up from Grammy's house and the rest of us just hung out in Rich and Katie's room until it was time to eat.  All of Ryan and Naomi's friends, us, and Rich and Katie and their family were all eating at the restaurant at the same time.  It was a lot of fun.  Today (Wednesday morning) Shawn had to work and Ryan had to fly out to Reno to play a show in Tahoe tonight.  Shawn took Ryan to the airport in the morning and Naomi and I loaded up all the kids and went up to Snowbird.  Algera and Isla went to kinder birds (they weren't in the same class but they eat lunch together).  Cruz, Sasha, and their friend Malia went with Bill, the private instructor that they loved.  And I took Lexi over to the magic carpet and chickadee.  Lexi was doing really well, but her legs got tired out pretty quick.  We did magic carpet once and chickadee twice and she had had it. I took her down the canyon and my mom was willing to watch her along with Farrah.  I called Rebecca and was able to make it up to Mid Gad restaurant to meet up with everyone.  I skied the second half of the day with the group.  It was a lot of fun to ski with a big group, I haven't done that in a long time.  Tonight grammy made a big batch of Taco Soup and we all went to Grammy's to hot tub and eat taco soup, a perfect dinner for a cold ski day!! Cruz said today was "epic".

I am hoping some other people will send me some pictures from skiing because it was too cold for me to pull my hand out of my mitten to snap a photo!!

Christmas Dinner

We had so much snow overnight and today, on Christmas day!  It made for a beautiful Christmas.  Shawn and I both took turns snow blowing each today.  We went over to Grammy's for Christmas Dinner. It was a lot of fun.  Rich and Katie and their crew was there.  And Dave, Rebecca, and Farrah with Dave's parents came to dinner.  It was such yummy food and fun to see the kids with Farrah.

Cruz made Farrah this cute deer.

Cruz is short-less after going in the hot tub!!!

Christmas Morning 2015

Santa Found Our Home!!!!  Santa brought Cruz a drone, a snow brick maker, and a Green Bay Packer soft football.  He brought Alegra a skateboard, a stuffed animal, and a snow brick maker.  He brought Lexi a Thomas the train pop up tent, a stuffed animal, and a snow brick maker.  Cruz also got some long sleeve shirts from us, the Ultra Agents Ocean HQ Lego set and a door basketball hoop from grammy.  He got a robot he can program from G&G Frye and a few other miscellaneous things. Alegra and Lexi got a gymnastics bar from grammy and a smaller American Girl doll.  Algera got some play makeup, a scarf, a bracelet making kit, and some other smaller stuff.  Both of the girls got a dog that walks from Grandma and Grandpa Frye.  I would say our kids are a little spoiled.  I think they really enjoyed Christmas though!!!
