Back to School

 For some reason I totally lost it once Cruz got on his bus today.  I was super nervous for him but I held a straight face till he left.

 The girls were excited and a bit nervous for school too today.

 The girls rode the bus and then I went to school to meet them.  Lexi got VERY shy and was hiding in my stomach.  I ended up walking her in with her class but then she let go and went and found her desk.  Hoping and praying for a great school day and a wonderful school year.  Love these three more than I can handle.

6th grade orientation

On Tuesday, they had all the 6th graders come for half day to practice going through their schedule and work at finding their locker and opening it.  I think this help relieve some nerves. Cruz just kept saying how crowded the halls were.

While Cruz was gone the girls and I went to the Vans store to buy their back to school shoes.  Alegra picked a pair that I already have.  Twinners!!

On Monday, we also went to school to find Cruz's locker and for him to practice a combination lock (which he has never done before).

Bell Canyon Hike

On Monday night while Alegra was at soccer practice, the rest of us hiked up to the Bell Canyon Reservoir. It was such a pleasant evening!

Shawn bet Cruz along time ago that if he ever beat him to the top he would give him $100.  Cruz took off on the hike thinking Shawn forgot about this bet.  Near the end they were both sprinting, but Shawn barely beat Cruz. Cruz is still mad about it because he thinks they tied.

Kaskade in the house

Ryan played at the Das Energy festival on Friday night.  He was supposed to play from 12:30-2:00 but there was a rain delay at about 10 p.m. so he didn't end up going on till 2:00.  Shawn and I went to the show, which was kinda nutty, but fun.

Summer Hair, Don't Care

Grammy took Lexi, Cruz, and me to dinner last night at Silver Fork Lodge (on the patio) before I went to Bountiful to pick up Alegra. It was such a pretty night!

Lagoon 2018

 We did it!! Lagoon 2018.  We hit it on Wednesday August 15th.  Jake and Manny came with us and Stacey and Esme met us later on in the day.

 Lexi started really mellow but by the end of the day she rode Colosus.  Her first upside down roller coaster (it has 2 upside down loops).  We rode it 2 times in a row!

 I got socked on Rattlesnack Rapids, but I have to say, it totally cooled me off the rest of the day!

 Stacey took Alegra home with her for a sleepover and Playdate with Esme.  They are such cute friends!!

Doughnut Falls

 It was our turn to host "Man Club Monday", Cruz's boy group on Mondays (entertaining themselves using no electronics). Only 2 other boys could come on Monday so I knew I could drive them somewhere.  We decided to go hike Doughnut Falls.  It was a lot of fun!

Tour of Utah

 Went to the end of the Tour of Utah in Park City. It was a little rainy, but fun!

Real Game

 Alegra's soccer club got to go to the Real Soccer Game last night.  Her little team along with most of the other players on the club got to run out on the field before the start of the game, which was pretty exciting.  Such a fun night together!
