Quick Trip up to Idaho for MLK

The kids had off school on Friday but Shawn had work.   It snowed ALOT Friday morning but we had a fun day kind of hanging out around the house.  On Saturday Cruz had ski team and Shawn and the girls and I went up to ski.  We had amazing powder on Baby Thunder!!  We came down early because Lexi had an indoor soccer game at 2:30.  After her game we decided to pack up the car and head up to Idaho.  Cruz got home around 4:30 from ski team practice and we were on the road by 6:00.  On Sunday we went to church and then went to the sledding hill at the top of the pass.  It was really fun!  When we got home we had fun pulling the kids around the neighborhood.  It was such a pretty day!  We made nachos for dinner and watched the Greenbay Packers game, but unfortunaley they didn't win.  This morning we walked around the neighborhood together and then packed up and came home. Idaho, especially the cabin, it such a fun place to just hang out.  So grateful we have this lovely place to get away to.

 Love this family of mine!

Alegra's 10 year old well check appointment

Alegra weight 66 lb that is 27% and is 54.5 Inches tall which is 48%.  She is growing and doing so well.  Dr. Pete talked about the eventual changes that would come to her body and she didn't like that part, but luckily he did it in a great way, it wasn't too bad.  My little girl is growing up too fast, but I am so proud of her.

45!

Last Saturday, I turned 45.  My friend Stacey and Egan were having a joint baby shower that day. It was fun because I got to see a lot of girls I haven't seen in a long time....like Cheryl Goo who flew in for the shower and Amy Lilenquiest, who was an old roommate of mine, she came in from California.  Lexi had an indoor soccer game in the afternoon and I ALWAYS love to see my kids play sports.  That night I requested we all go to Royal India for dinner and to Little Woman.  Shawn and the kids also made me a sign and sprayed me with silly spray. I just love being with my family!!

Pictures are kinda out of order:

Tea at Grand America

Friday January 10th the girls (plus Vaughn) went to Tea at Grand America after school.  Cruz babysat Pierce.  It was so fun. I wanted to do it around Christmas time, but they were booked solid, so this was the first tea time we could get.  So, it ended up being a birthday celebration!!!! I have always wanted to take my girls, so it was so fun!

Babysitting Vaughn

One night last week Grammy wasn't around to help Rebecca get the kids down so Alegra and I went over to hold baby Vaughn while Rebecca laid with the other two....it was so fun!

Lexi is Loving Junior Jazz!

Lexi is loving Junior Jazz.  She is pretty aggressive and has pretty good ball handling skills.  It is really fun to watch her!

Visiting Grandpa Gary's Grave

BYU Game

While Raddon's were still here Grammy had tickets to the BYU Basketball game, so Alegra, Lexi, Grammy, Isla, and I went to the game.

Dinosaur Museum

Over the break Cruz, Lexi, and I went to the Dinosaur museum with Grammy, Rebecca, Farrah, Pierce, and Vaughn.  I hadn't been there in a while and my kids were good sports with Rebecca's kids.

New Years Eve 2019 to 2020!!!

Rebecca and David were up at my moms house for New Years Eve night.  We did a fun thing this year.  First of all, we skied at the end of the day, which is always fun!!!  Then, I had made cheese fondue and chocolate fondue-and had ham, potato bites, veggies, and bread to dip in the cheese and strawberries, angel food cake, and pretzels to dip in the chocolate.  The kids hot tubbed and played games and just hung out.  We went home at about 8:00 but it was a fun way to ring in the New Year.  Grammy had purchased noise makers and martinelles and we did a toast to the New Year.  Heres to a great 2020!!!!
