Lexi, Shawn, and Olive headed up to Idaho for the weekend. It looks like they had a pretty good time!
More pics from a dad that takes awesome action shots! He just had his camera at the last game.
Shawn, Kelly, Cruz (17 years old), Alegra (15 years old), and Lexi (12 years old).
Lexi and I had a bike date planned for this morning. Some trouble with paperwork came up with Alegra's tournament so I had to push back our time a little bit. We ended up going closer to 11 a.m. It was hot but so fun!!! Loving spending time with my baby girl!
We hit a bunch of trails over at Little Valley, Lexi is riding so strong. Then we drove over to the pump tracks that are by the equestrian park. We were both HOT...in more ways than one as Lexi likes to tell me, but she for sure earned a snow cone today!!!The last 3 days Lexi has played 3 soccer games in the Utah Glory Cup. First game was a tie 2-2 on Thursday night, Second Game they won 2-1 against Avalanche, and then an early game Saturday morning they ended up losing 0-1. Unfortunately they didn't make it to the championship game which was later today. I don't know how much gas left these girls had though, so it might have been a good thing.
Cruz got super lucky this week and was invited to Lake Powell with the Farnsworth family (Jake) Tuesday through Friday. He has been sending pictures. It looks pretty dreamy!
Alegra is doing the MilanXPro soccer camp up in Park City from 9-1 every day this week. She has been so sore and worked from it. Claire, Stella, and Grace Packer are doing it from her team and Laila from the blue team. I am proud of her, the camp is no joke, and it has been close to 100 degrees every day this week!
Of course we had to hit Seven 11 on July 11th to get the girls their free slurpee!
On Saturday before Alegra, Isla, and I got home from girls camp, Shawn and Lexi went paddle boarding at East Canyon. I love these pictures!!!
Girls Camp was at Lava Hot Springs this year. It started on Thursday July 7th. Shawn and I took 2 cars up to Idaho for the 4th. Shawn left earlier on Thursday morning to be able to make it to some of work. Alegra, Isla (we invited her), and I left at around 2:00 to meet our YW at the campsite in Lava. The YW met earlier on Thursday at the church but stopped in Logan to do a hike. It was fun to meet up with them and get camp set up. We floated the Portneuf River on Friday and went to the hot springs on Saturday. We were also supposed to go to the waterpark pool but the line was so long to get in we ended up going to a park to hang out and eat lunch before heading home. It was so fun to be at camp with Alegra. It was her 2nd year of camp, but last year with covid we only did 1 night at Ann's cabin. This was more of a true camp experience. It was 2 nights of tent sleeping. Both Alegra and Isla did great. Unfortunately I didn't take too many pictures.
this teeter totter was a huge hit!Dang it - pictures loaded in reverse order, so I will tell you about our week in reverse. On Wednesday July 6th the whole gang went to Heise Hot Springs to hang out. The pool had been renovated, so it was fun to see that. From Heise - Macy, Brayden, and they took Cruz home. Ali, Georgia, Walker, and Elle left and Rich's family left for SLC.
