Saturday Afternoon at East Canyon

 It was HOT today and so this afternoon we took the paddle boards over to East Canyon Reservoir.  We had a fun afternoon!

 Spent this hot 105 degree afternoon at the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. After a morning soccer session for Alegra, we decided to head indoors!

Girls Camp 2023 - Flaming Gorge

Lexi, Alegra, and I were off to Girls Camp on Wednesday morning.  Lexi isn't quite in Young Womens but with Cruz in Cambodia and Shawn on a work trip in Hawaii I needed to bring her.  She ended up being a great addition to camp.  She got along with all the girls so well.  We drove to the Flaming Gorge area on Wednesday morning.  Ann, the YW president ended up hurting her back so she couldn't come at the last minute.  She had planned it all but it was up to me to execute it.  The week ended up turning out great with the help of Sam Anderson on food and Victoria Miller helping with crafts and devotionals.  The girls paddle boarded, swam, cliff jumped, visited the damn, river rafted, ate campfire meals, slept in tents, etc.  I was very ready for a shower when I came home last night but I loved being with my girls at Girls Camp.

We did play a campfire game one night that went bad for Lu.  It was dare to eat gross candy and she ended up with a "Chocolate Bar from Hell" and then on her next turn "Chicken Fried Hard Candy".  The combo of the 2 put her stomach into knots and she ended up totally throwing up.  She was so sad and upset that night but the next day everyone was like "you are amazing Lexi", she ended up the hero!  

Cruz is off to Cambodia

I took Cruz to the airport at 3 p.m.  He is off for a great adventure. He is flying to LA and then meeting up with his group to fly through Singapore to Cambodia. 

My baby is off...I am so happy to that he gets to have this amazing experience but I will definitely miss my boy~

 

4th of July week in Idaho

 Sunday and Monday -  Unfortunately my pictures loaded in reverse order.  Our family took off Sunday morning after going to Sacrament.  We arrived to help with Sunday dinner and enjoy family time.  Russ, Grant, Walker, Elle, Macy, Brayden were there.  Rich, Katie, Clara, and Ezra.  All of the Jackson's.  Grammy.  We had Isla with us and Ryan flew in his helicopter on Monday afternoon.

Tuesday - 4th of July - parade in Victor, Heise Hot Springs, and home for Brats and fireworks!

Wednesday and Thursday....Wednesday many most of the people went on the boat. On Thursday we drove over to Jackson Hole to do the Alpine Slide and Pizza in Jackson Hole.  Friday morning we took the Jackson out on the lake for a bit and then they took off and Shawn took of with the kids Friday by 5.  Grammy and I washed like crazy - all the beds and ALL of the towels. We left at about 11 on Saturday after all the washing was done.  We stopped at Maddox for a late lunch.  Picture below.
