Alegra went to her 2 week dr. appointment today, technically, she is 16 days old though! She weighed in at 8 lbs. 11 ounces putting her in the 59%, she measured 20.3 inches long which is the 45%, and her head measured 36.1 cm which is the 50%. I could tell her face was getting a little chunkier and I am so glad she is putting weight on. You never know if they are getting enough when you feed them, but my doctor seemed very pleased with her weight gain!! He commented on her double chin! :)
It has been extremely cold in Utah the past 2 weeks so we have not ventured out of the house too much. I figure why expose her to those cold temperatures when I don't really have to. It has been nice to hang at home. Cruz gets a little cabin fever but he has been really good considering he is used to being on the go. It has been nice to read with him, play legos, play construction, cook, and have fun with him when Alegra is sleeping.
We have been fortunate enough to have extremely kind family and neighbors drop meals by for almost 2 weeks straight, we feel very blessed by how kind everyone has been, thank you, thank you, thank you!
