Our neighbors invited the kids and I over for a swim. We had so much fun! Alegra especially liked to put on all the swim equipment!

Cruz is a really good swimmer but i had him wear the floaties since it would be hard for me to jump in after him while holding Lexi

Little Gym Awards Day

Alegra has loved going to Little Gym this year! Today was the special program day. Cruz came with me because he is out of school, they (Lexi, Cruz, and Alegra) were so cute! Good job Alegra!

Swan Valley for Memorial Day Weekend

We ventured up to Swan Valley for the long weekend. Although the weather wasn't great, it was still fun and beautiful. We went up Friday afternoon/evening. The kids were great in the car. My mom had decorated my dads grave and his parents graves earlier in the day on Friday, in Idaho Falls we stopped and decorated my grandma and grandpa Tolivers graves (my moms parents). On Saturday my mom and Shawn got up and worked very hard in the yard until about 1:00. The kids had fun playing there as they always do. Lexi was kind of fussy so I was inside mostly with her. That afternoon it clouded up and we got rain. Sunday we went to church and then went for a ride over to Jackson Hole. It was cold and rainy so there wasn't much else to do. Alegra got her pink cowboy boats, which she loves!!! We stopped at our favorite pizza place in Victor on the way home. On Monday we worked some more around the yard and the house and then took off about 1:00! We stopped in Idaho Falls and let the kids play in Tautphaus Park and picked up my Aunt Nina to go back to SLC with us. It was a fun weekend!

Adventure Preschool

Today was Cruz's last day at Adventure Preschool. They had western day so he got to wear his western ware. I LOVED Miss Shirley. She was a great fit for Cruz. This year was her last year teaching so unfortunately the girls won't get to go to her.

Alegra - 2 1/2

On the 22nd of this month Alegra officially became 2.5! This is how I found her when I checked on her at nap time!

Alegra wanted to stand by Cruz when I was taking his picture today but he wouldn't let her, this is the photo I got!

Fur

Cruz was just starring at his arm and he says to me, "MOM (kind of surprised), I have fur growing on my arm!" Then he started examining his body and then he adds, "and on my other arm.......and on my legs too!" FUNNY!!!!

Lexi's 2 month Check Up!

Lexi went to Doctor Pete this afternoon. She weighs 10lb 14 oz (50 %), she is 23 Inches tall (74%), and her head measures 38.9 (52%). She unfortunately got 3 vaccinations, in her thigh, which made her pretty sad, but luckily she calmed down pretty quickly!

Lego Heaven!

Cruz decided to use the birthday money he got from Grammy to buy a Lego set he was really wanting. He spent all weekend on it and finished it Sunday afternoon. I was so impressed, some of the steps were very hard and he really worked on most of it by himself. It was a Lego set that said "8-14", so that is pretty good for a new 5 year old!!

Happy 2 month birthday Lexi!

Lexi is smiling and trying to laugh right now. She is such a good baby. She does have a little temper though and she gets ticked kind of fast if you can't figure out what is wrong with her. She likes to be swaddled, she loves her big brother and sister, and she is doing great at night. Sometimes she makes it from 10 until 6 or 7 or she will get up only once, about 3 or 4. That is amazing! She is pretty good being nursed anywhere and goes with the flow. We love our Lexi Lu!

Alegra is at such a cute age right now! She is really into dancing and dressing up lately!

Teeth and Pump

Today was a big day for Cruz. He has had 2 loose teeth on the bottom for a couple of weeks now. The big teeth were starting to come in behind them and they were coming up crocked so I was worried we were ruining permanent teeth. Every time I tried to wiggle his teeth though, he totally freaked out. So, we made a dentist appointment. With the help of a little laughing gas and some numbing serum, the dentist pulled Cruz's 2 little teeth without Cruz even flinching. Cruz is very excited for the tooth fairy to come tonight. He keeps asking questions like, Does she bring toys?, How does she get into the house? Is she even real? The excitement is high! I can't believe my little boy has 2 teeth out of his mouth already, it made me kind of sad! He is growing up too fast!

We went for a little slurppy treat after the dentist because all of the kids were total gems at the dentist office. We came home and ate them out on the back deck. Then the kids went down to play. Cruz said, "look mom!" He got on the swing and started pumping and got himself going very high! I was so impressed. He told me he has been working on that at school all week. Although this is also a sign of growing up, I am glad he has mastered this skill!

Cruz was a little funny on the laughing gas, he kept touching the nurse and wanted to grab the light up above!

8 weeks old
