Alegra was reading to Lexi this afternoon with "her glasses". Grammy usually says, I need my glasses to read, so Alegra does too! :)

Alegra loves to ski...

and even loves the hot chocolate more. On Saturday Dad and Alegra went up to ski at Snowbird. Cruz wanted to play with Carter rather than ski. We are in an inversion in SLC so getting up in the mountains was the best idea. Dad said it was nice and warm and sunny. They had fun skiing. They ran into Alex and Doug and skied most of the day with them. They had hot chocolate once on the tram deck and once at the end of the day at Doug's truck!! Here is Alex and Alegra!

Alegra is getting really good now. She is skiing all by herself. She can stop, turn, and do little jumps!!!

Lexi is getting so big!

Lexi is really crawling now. She goes places she has just looked at before. He 4 little teeth are growing in and it makes her look bigger. She is such a good, happy baby. We love her! I wasn't giving her food fast enough, thus the mad face!

New Puppies

Marc and Cat bought 2 new cute Yellow Labs. They brought them over to show us before they took them home. Frosty is the girl, very feisty. The little boy, the brother, Snoops, is very shy and reserved. So cute, it made me think maybe someday I want a dog!!

Polar Express Train Ride 2012

We went on the Polar Express train ride on Christmas Eve day 2012. Greg, Ali's dad, took some pictures on the train and I just got a couple, so cute and what a good time. We were just missing Grandpa, Rebecca (in Cali seeing David), and Russ (at work).

Last day of Kindermusik for Alegra

Today was the last day of Kindermusik for Alegra. We would go to Tree House for class from 10:20-11:00. I was able to sign Cruz up for the kid care at "The Nest" thru Treehouse. I just had to pay $4 each time. It was totally worth it because he had fun running around with other kids his age. I am pretty envious of their child care at this club. It is pretty amazing. Cruz loved going. I usually just left Lexi in her carseat and she would chill or fall asleep some classes. Alegra loved Kindermusic with Mrs. Teresa. We are not doing it for Spring because I felt bad for Lexi having to miss her nap. I have signed Alegra up for a Little Gym class instead. I don't think they have to do a million things at 3 so it will be good to change to a gymnastics class. Alegra LOVED her singing class though.

It is freezing in Utah right now. I was driving to the grocery store with the kids to pick up a few items before singing and it read 5 degrees. That is chilly!!!!

Alegra needed her picture taken, since Cruz got his picture taken. A special treat from the store this morning, they each got to pick a lunchable to have for lunch today!

This little lady got up at 5:00a.m. today so she is taking a rare nap. She usually keeps her body moving all day so she won't fall asleep :)!

Cruz lost his 4th tooth

Cruz lost his 4th tooth tonight! He bumped his mouth into my knee. When he looked up he was wiggling his tooth alot (I think it was pretty wiggly before). Then about 3 minutes later it popped out!

Greenbay Loses

Last night we stayed home to watch the Greenbay Packers game. Unfortunately they lost so now they aren't in the running for the Playoffs. Cruz and Carter played most of the day at our house and then Kelley came and picked the boys up to go to their house for a sleepover. The boys hadn't played since Christmas, so they were excited to show each other their toys. The girls and dad ate pizza, edamame, and chips and watched the game. Lexi is really into waving right now and some of these pictures show it. She can wave with both hands. Alegra is in to playing hide and seek and we have been doing that alot lately too. Actually, she has gotten really good at counting playing it!!!

Friend Tea Party

My good friend Melanie Kirkland planned a Tea Party for her birthday (her's is on the 8th). It was so fun. She is the hostess with the mostess. It was seriously so cute. The food was delicious. She had a waldorf chicken salad sandwich, a cream cheese cucumber sandwich, and a salmon sandwich. She also had scones and these other cream pastries that were to die for. She had herbal tea with real tea cups (that she collects) and a silver tea set. It was so incredible. I love that I have very talented friends. My friends Melanie and Victoria were there so it was fun to catch up with them. I had a blast! I don't do girl time too much, so it was very fun for me!

Lexi is crawling and she got her 4th tooth

Lexi has been close to crawling for a long time. She gets up on all 4's but then she would push herself either backwards or back into a sitting position. The last couple of days I have seen her actually crawl forwards one or two crawls before she goes into her one leg out and one leg bent (looks uncomfortable to my old knees) sitting position. She isn't cruising around yet, but I do think she will start crawling more once she realizes it gets her places.

Another thing that has been close, her 4th tooth. It is on top. It has looked like it was going to pop thru her gums for a long time but it finally popped just a bit today!

My birthday

It was my birthday yesterday. We woke up to at least a foot of snow. Shawn actually got up super early and snow blowed and then left for work. I went out later in the morning to try and snow blow the area where the snowplow pushed snow to cover our driveway. I got super frustrated because I couldn't get the snowblower to move where it shot the snow. I did end up shoveling the decks, sweeping off the tramp, etc. that took me most of the morning. Cruz went to school and Aunt Rebecca came to hang out for the day with me. We went to lunch (thanks to mom who is in California with her sister and brother and their spouses) at Zuppas for salad, Rebecca, me, and the girls. We then came home and Rebecca watched the girls while I went to work out with Melanie. For my birthday this year my mom got me 2 months of personal training with Melanie, a lady that lives about a half mile away. It has been awesome. I started right after Thanksgiving and I will go thru January. I have been going 2 times a week. I love it. Mom also got me new running shoes. So, I am trying to get back in shape :). It was so nice of Rebecca to watch the girls so I could go work out. Cruz went to Lizzy's house after school. I picked him up on the way home from working out. Later that night Shawn and I went to Mazza for dinner. It had started snowing again so we went to a late dinner because it took Shawn a while to get home from work. It was a very nice birthday! The roads weren't that great to get to Mazza or home, but I think the food was worth it. Shawn got me this awesome vacuum for the kitchen for my birthday. He also got me new workout pants and the best gift of all, he made me a large magnet board to hang upstairs. I am really excited for the gifts he gave me, he spoiled me this birthday!
