BFF

One of my dearest friends, Bobbi, who I have known most of my life (we met in the North Shore 2nd ward when we were like 10), moved back to the Utah area (Alpine). Anyway, on Wednesday she called me up and said I am making a massage appointment for you on Thursday what time would work. I was shocked and said she didn't have to do it. She said, "no, I am doing it for your birthday and I want to." So on Thursday (the day before my birthday) right after I got Cruz on the bus for school the girls and I took off for Alpine. I dropped the girls off at Bobbi's house at 1:00 and then drove over close to her house to this massage guy she goes to. It was awesome! She made it possible by babysitting the girls and just making the appointment. Bobbi actually had an emergency root canal that morning, but she was still willing to watch the girls. Vienna, Bobbi's 4 year old daughter, was home from preschool, so Alegra loved playing with her. When I got back an hour later, the older girls had dress up dresses on and these window markers, just having a grand time. Bobbi and I chatted a few minutes and I thanked her immensely, and then the girls and I got back in the minivan and got home in time to pick up Cruz from the bus. That was a super awesome and thoughtful gift. She thought of the babysitting aspect for a mommy, it was awesome!

Alegra had such a good time she zonked on the way home (they let us borrow this dress up dress)
