Swan Valley Weekend!

The kids, Grammy, and I left for Swan Valley on Wednesday night.  Dad drove his motorcycle up on Thursday night.  We had a great time up there.  The weather started out a little chilly and rainy on Thursday, but each day got progressively better.  It was our annual "get the cabin ready for summer" trip.  We weeded, cleaned, took the boat out, made sure things were working correctly, and made a giant grocery list for Grammy.

 Dad rode his bike up and over the pass to Jackson Hole and we picked him up in Jackson on Friday.  I took this picture because this is Rebecca's doll stroller from 25 years ago that I found in the garage up in Idaho to use for Lexi!

 Little Lexi Lu loved the drivers seat in the boat. She pretty much screamed if she wasn't in the drivers seat!

 Alegra really wanted to water ski. The water is still freezing and the air temp was about 78 degrees. She put up a fuss so Shawn took her in to try.  The both got wet suits on.  She got in the water and started screaming. She tried one more time and screamed more. She really did want to water ski, she just didn't want to get in the water. I am impressed she even attempted!!

 I didn't get a picture of Cruz because I was driving, but Cruz went in next and actually got up and waterskied. His first time of getting up.  He was done after one time since the water was so cold, but I can't believe he did it. Shawn was in the water with him to help him get started and Grammy was holding the other end of the rope. Good job Cruzer!!
