The kids and I drove with my mom on Saturday evening. We arrived about the same time as the Russell's on Saturday night. On Sunday we went to church and it was nice because we actually stayed the whole time. I love the ward up there and it was a great meeting. The kids had fun going to primary with their cousins too. The rest of the day it was a nice mellow day. Rich's family came into town just in time for dinner that evening. On Monday Russ, Grant, Rich, and Nicholas left for their 2 day backpacking trip. We all started up the Palisades Trail together planning on turning around at the first bridge. Grammy really wanted to make it to the top lake and luckily Macy, Georgia, and Ali were willing to go, but at the first bridge Cruz was hiking with Uncle Russ and Grant and they all kept going. I was a bit behind with the girls and didn't have him stop. So, Cruz did his first 9 mile hike. He was so tired when he got home Monday night. I am so proud of him though! I was also really proud of Grammy. She hasn't done that hike since Grandpa passed away and she really wanted to prove to herself she could do it, and she did!
Love this rock up there. Miss dad especially when we all get together!
4 wheelin' time!
Funny little squirt found this hat laying around and wore it all afternoon.

Cruz and Walt in their undies at the top lake, 4.5 miles up!
Monday night the Ryan's came into town. On Tuesday morning Ryan and Mia got their packs ready and met the other backpackers up on Palisades. Grammy, Me, Cruz, Alegra, Lexi, Aunt Ali, Georgia, Macy, Walt, Aunt Katie, Ezra, and Clara all drove to Jackson to eat lunch at the Sweetwater and to shop in town a bit. After the kids had enough we took them over to the Alpine Slide to ride. They had a blast and Grammy let them ride again. We picked up pizza in Victor that night for dinner! Shawn had gotten in about 5 p.m. but took his mountain bike up Palisades trail to say hi to the backpackers!
Hanging in the town square in Jackson Hole!
Alpine Slide time! Even Lexi went and giggled the whole way down!
Alegra got her moose pajamas she has been talking about for an entire year. I didn't buy them for her last year and she has talked about them literally this whole year. Isla got the same pair. These 2 are BFF's.
On Wednesday Naomi and I ran up to the to the lake at Palisades. We were only going to run to the second bridge but once we made it there we realized there was only like a mile left to the lake. When we got up to the lake the gang was just heading our way from their camp site just past the lake. They had a great time. In the afternoon on Wednesday we all went out on the lake. It was a lot on the boat and some of the little were getting tired of being on the boat, but it was fun to be all together!. Rebecca and David flew in late that night!
This is Rich and it reminds me so much of Gary!
Rich and Nick finishing their 3 day 2 night backpacking adventure!
Hot Hubby on the Boat!
The tube was the favorite thing of the kids by far.
The favorite thing of the adults was the surfing!
Cruz found these old rollerblades of me or my moms. He had a blast on those but I was scared he was going to crack his head open.
Cruz and Grant were the Snake whisperers. They caught so many snakes together. They have a great friendship!
Lexi loving her ice cream!
One night all the men took Gary's fishing boat out right in front on Zimmermans property (all the men but Ryan :)). They tried getting the motor started but it hasn't been run since my dad.
More snakes.....
So pretty!
One of my favorite pictures from the week!
FRIDAY JULY 4th - We had a really fun 4th of July. Shawn got up and golfed with Rich, Ryan, Russ, and David in Victor. We drove over to Victor to meet them for the parade. The kids love that parade because they throw lots of candy....but I have to say it was pretty hot this year!
Loving being with my sissy!
The Raddon Girls!
Cruz got this plant from a nursery float and he immediately ran over and gave it to Grammy. It totally touchéd her heart!
Little Lexi got so hot she stripped down to her diaper!
After the parade the Russell's went back to the cabin. The rest of us at a little barbecue place in Victor. It was good but they had no inside seating and we were all so hot. Some of the group went on the boat that afternoon and some of us went on the 4 wheelers! That night Grammy had made a brat dinner. After dinner Rebecca ordered shirts (which turned out really cute) and we played a family kickball game. It was so fun!

Trying to get a family picture before the game got started!
Love this series of pictures of Alegra, too funny!
Little cutie!
Love my family!!
Cruz was so cute with Berts dogs. We had asked Bert and Tasha to come over to take our family picture and then they stayed to cheer us on and take pictures!
The Russell's
S'more time after the game!
Rich getting a little fishing in with his side kick before the fireworks show started!
Lexi didn't like the fireworks. When the big ones started she covered her ears and said, "no fireworks!' I watched from inside the house for a bit and then ended up putting her to bed. Rich had bought a TON of fireworks in Nevada on his drive in and they had a long display of pretty cool fireworks. Alegra watched the show from Shawn's lap on the rocking bench and Cruz was right next to his buddy Grant on the bench!
Rebecca lovin' on the little girls!
The shirts had an R with a 1963 under it, the year mom and dad got married! Ryan's gang left Saturday night as well as Russell's gang. Rich's gang left Sunday after church. We left a couple hours after them. It was fun to be on the boat, the 4 wheelers, and to hang out. Because our group is kind of getting large we kind of had to do things in shifts, but it seemed to work!
The girls with these huge helmets on on Sunday after church when we were getting packed up to leave. There was a major accident on the highway from Swan Valley to Idaho Falls. My mom and Cruz were taking David and Rebecca into the airport to leave on Sunday afternoon. They ended up missing their flight. We picked them up at the McDonalds at the Fred Meyer and they drove home with us. Luckily it was already planned that Cruz was going to drive home with Grammy the next morning to give her company so we had room for both of them in the truck.
We had such a good week. I love it up there. I love hanging with my siblings. I love the feeling in Swan Valley. I love that it brings me closer to feeling my dad near. I am so happy that we were all able to spend that time together!
