Halloween Night 2014

The kids had a blast trick or treating tonight...and the weather was so mild, made for a very nice night.  Lexi hung a pretty long time and then we took a break and came home and helped Grammy pass out candy.  It was such a fun night!

A Couple More from Shawn's Phone!

HALLOWEEN MORNING/AFTERNOON

We have had a busy Halloween so far.  We went to Cruz's school for his parade and then the 2nd grade had a Halloween Performance.  He did great.  He woke up not feeling so well this morning, so he seemed a little sleepy/sick to me but I don't think any one else could tell.  The girls have had a cold this week and I think he picked it up!

I made the kids take pictures this morning before we took off for the day!

Little Elmo waiting for the school parade
Dad went to work early but then came back to the school for the parade and performance!

Cruz's buddies.....Davis, Jake, and Jonah (don't know where Dempsey is)
I posted the picture below on Instagram.  I took this a few days ago, think it is so cute!

Keeping Lexi entertained while Cruz's program was going!!

After Cruz's school the girls and I went home for a few minutes for me to put together some soup to take to the Milners tonight.  We then loaded up and went to Daddy's work for his potluck lunch!

After the potluck lunch I dropped Alegra off at school and then Lexi and I ran a few errands until we went back to Alegra's school for her little Halloween Parade.

Pinterest Halloween Cookies

Saw these cute Peanut butter Halloween cookies on Pinterest and decided to try and recreate them for Shawn's work party that was a "pot luck" on Halloween.  I think they turned out pretty cute!

Crazy Sock Thursday

This week has been Red Ribbon Week at Granite Elementary.  On Thursday it was crazy sock day.  Cruz made up some large contraption with pipe cleaners.  He had created it in his mind and then made it on Thursday morning!

Family Photo Shoot - By US!

So I was too cheap to pay for a photographer this year and was pretty confident we could get a good picture.  I was happy with what I got but the experience helped me realize there is a lot to a good picture.  I want to work on my skills (which I don't have many in the photography area) but I am up for the challenge. Here are some of the pictures we got!
