St. George with Stacey and Esme!

Stacey and Esme invited me and the kiddos to St. George for a few days over our spring break.  We went Monday thru Thursday.  We all piled in the minivan on Monday morning and came back yesterday afternoon.   We had a great time.  Esme and Alegra got along great and Cruz liked to tease the girls.  Esme kind of liked it but then she would get irritated. She isn't used to being teased.  Alegra unfortunately got Croup and an Ear infection while we were there and then on Wednesday night Lexi got Croup.  The nights were a little hairy for me but in the day they were great and we were able to do fun activities.  Staceys parents have a second home there so it was perfect.

MONDAY: Drove down, went swimming at the club house pool (indoor), then went to Pizza Factory for dinner.

Found a petrified lizard and buried it in the rock!!

TUESDAY:  Took Alegra to insta care in the morning and Cruz and Lexi played with Esme at the house.  Went to Snow Canyon after we ate lunch at home then Nielsens for custard. Drove by the St. George temple then home to play and swim some more.   Picked up Greek food to eat at home that night.  They swam at the indoor pool since the outdoor pool wasn't heated and it was only about 70 degrees outside.

WEDNESDAY:  A cooler day in St. George.  Took the kids to the Childrens Museum, they loved that.  Then went to a Mexican place for lunch, picked up Swig drinks and cookies and took them to see the new movie "Home".  After the movie we went home and played in the man made river in the backyard.  Ate stuff at home for dinner that night!

 Crafts in-between activites!

Outdoor fun once it warmed up!

THURSDAY: Wednesday night Lexi had a bad night and Stacey actually went out at 9:30 to buy me a humidifier. I gave her my credit card but Lexi was not going to let me go, she was in tough shape with bad breathing!!  We cleaned up and got the house in pretty good shape.  Then we took the kids to a close hike with cool climbing and rocks, called Slit Rock, close to Stacey's parents home.  The kids had a blast there and it was a warmer day.  We picked up sandwiches to eat in the backyard at the home and then we locked the house up and got on the road by 2:00 p.m.

It was a fun trip but we did miss our daddio!!!
