Memorial Weekend 2016-Swan Valley, Idaho

We spend the weekend in Idaho.  Grammy, the kids, and I went up on Friday and Shawn pulled the boat up on Saturday morning since he was out of town until late Friday night.  We had a nice weekend getting the cabin ready for summer.

 On Saturday night after working hard all day Shawn, Alegra, and I took the boat out for a quick spin. Shawn was crazy enough to get in the freezing cold water to check out the wake!!!

Decorating Graves on the Friday before Memorial Day

On our way out of town on Friday we stopped and visited dad's grave, Miles grave, and Evelyn and Hollis's grave (my grandpa and grandma) and Anina (Evelyn's mom's grave) and then Anina's mom's grave in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.  Then in Idaho Falls we stopped and put flowers on Phyllis and ME's grave.

In Idaho Falls we let the kids stop at the park for a bit since they were so good while stopped at the cemetery's and got some things accomplished in Idaho Falls.

Bobbi's wedding

This past Thursday night I went to the reunion wedding of Darin and Bobbi.  They have been divorced for over 3 years and reunited and remarried on Thursday night.  It was a beautiful wedding in a beautiful place (at her brother Josh's house).  I will probably never be in a house like that again in my life!!

Lexi's Preschool Program

Today was Lexi's end of the year preschool program and last day of first year preschool.  She did great in her little performance!!

Carnival for Cub Scouts

Cruz had his carnival for cub scouts last night.  He had a blast!!

Alegra's Spring Recital

Alegra had her dance recital tonight.  She did so well.  It seemed like she really knew the dance.  She is such a cutie!!!

Park day for Preschool

Lexi's preschool met at a park today for Preschool.  She only has 1 more day left at Mrs. Sarah's and it is her program.

Peonies

I planted 2 peony plants about 3 weeks ago and I have 2 blooms.  I am so excited!!! Peonies remind me of when I was a little girl.  There was a farm field behind our house and there were about 3-4 rows of peonies.
