Thanksgiving 2016

We spend the Thanksgiving holiday in Idaho.  It was a really fun and restful break.  We headed up to Idaho on Wednesday at about 3 p.m.  Luckily we got out of town before snow came in at about 5.  On Thanksgiving, Thursday, we exercised, played games, hung out, and then went to dinner in Driggs, Idaho at a place called "The Barn" in Huntsman Springs.  It was a small little club house/restaurant with only a few other families eating.  It was a really good turkey dinner.  Not the same as a home cooked meal, but nice not to have all of the work :).  After leaving dinner, we drove around Driggs a bit and saw a baby moose in town.  On Friday we were trying to decide what to do when Wendy Toliver called me and told me that Big Horn Sheep were out at the Elk Refugee in Jackson Hole.  We quickly loaded up and headed over to Jackson.  It was such a fun day.  We watched the Big Horn Sheep, shopped, and had fun in Jackson.  On the way back to the cabin we stopped at the top of the pass and let the kids sled.  They LOVED it.  On Saturday we exercised, rode razors, played games, did crafts, and went to sled at the top of Pine Creek Pass.  It was so fun.  That night for dinner we met the Toliver at the Snake River Grill in Swan Valley.  It was fun to catch up with them.  We came home to watch some football and rest.  Today we went to church and then tried to get the house cleaned up as fast as we could because it was starting to snow.  Luckily we got out of town at a decent time so we didn't have too bad of roads.  All and all a great weekend up in Idaho. I love going there-life just seems simpler up there!

The pictures are kind of out of order. On Thanksgiving I made the kids and Shawn take a bunch of pictures. :)
