Halloween 2018 in the books

Alegra and Lexi had their halloween parade at school yesterday morning.  Alegra was a pink flamingo and Lexi was an eagle.  I was able to help in Lexi's class party.  This year Misti hosted our soup dinner so all I had to do was make a butternut squash soup.  We ate quick at Misti's and then took the girls out trick or treating.  Grammy came over and had soup with us and then helped hand out candy.  At the last minute Alegra changed her costume and made up a bunny costume really quick.  This was the first year that Cruz wasn't with us :(.  His friend Andrew invited a bunch of boys over for pizza and then trick or treating in his neighborhood.  I was glad Cruz could hang with his cute group of friends, but I missed having our buddy around.  Shawn and I stayed with the girls and we were able to hook up with some of their friends families as we trick or treated.  It was a fun and chilly evening!
