Grandpa Frye is in Heaven

Rick Frye passed away yesterday morning on March 14th, 2019 at around 7:00 a.m.  Shawn had flown out earlier in the week to be with him, his mom, and his sister Leigh.  We will miss Grandpa.  He was a very gentle, sincere, quietly funny man-plus, he worked hard, and really could fix anything he put his mind to.  He took time to build puzzles with the grandkids, read books, read books the kids were reading, played stack the states, made bracelets, and worked on projects.

Yesterday was PI (3.14) day...so Shawn called me and told me that Kathy's siblings and Rick's sister were gathering last night to eat pie and celebrate Rick.  Fran called me and we decided to go up to their house to eat dinner and have pie together to honor Grandpa Rick.  It was a nice evening!
