little message for me

I know this line is said by Ammon to King Limhi, but when I read it, I think of Christ saying these words to me:
.
“For I am assured that if ye had known me ye would not have suffered that I should have worn these bands.” (Mosiah 7:13)
.
Christ has the ability, like Ammon had for the people of Zeniff, to deliver me from my enemies.
And yet, does He stand before me, hindered in His ability to move freely in my life, because I have bound Him? “He can’t do “a” in “b” timeline.”
“His atonement can’t reach this sin.”
“He can heal me, just not yet.”
Or even,
“I’ll never be able to change ‘y’ in my life.”—completely taking Him out of our picture.
.
These are all bonds we put on the Savior.
For there is no sin Christ hasn’t already paid for.
No weakness he hasn’t already overcome.
No wrong he hasn’t already righted.
No distance He hasn’t already traveled to get to us.
.
The only thing that puts limits on his ability to work in us.. is US. .
So I try to think twice before putting limits on a limitless power.
Take off the bands.
Let him move freely in your life today.
