We left for Idaho on Thursday July 1st, 2021. Ryan flew Cruz and Shawn in the helicopter and then I drove Isla, Alegra, and Lexi. Naomi and Sasha were a bit behind us. We got up in time to take the boat out for a bit. Unfortunately, a storm blew in so we only got a little time on the water. My pictures loaded in reverse order. Ill give a quick recap of the week -but the pictures won't totally line up. Friday July 2nd - a bit of time on the boat and hanging out at the cabin. Saturday July 3rd, the boys (Cruz and Shawn) as well, played golf in the morning and then we all went to the Victor 4th of July Parade. Some went on the boat in the afternoon and then we had brats and hamburgers for our 4th of July dinner. 32-34 people were in Idaho this year, so it was a bit crazy. Sunday, July 4th, church and a little service at home with grammy. W.W.J.D. That night we had a nice Sunday dinner. We also had ice cream cake to celebrate Naomi's birthday and some of us drove over to Alpine to watch the fireworks. Monday July 5th, we spent some time on the boat with Shawn before I had to take him to the airport to go on a work trip to Boise. Tuesday, July 6th, Cruz and Alegra went with a big group to go river rafting and Lexi and I took David and Rebecca's family on the boat. Wednesday July 7th, the boat went out again. It was a smaller group this day and the kids had so much fun just messing around in the water. Rich and I did pretty well on boat duty. Thursday July 8th, we went over to Jackson Hole for a late lunch, shopping, and riding the alpine slide at Snow King Resort. Friday July 9th, it was just me and the girls, Isla, grammy, and Ali, Walker, and Elle. We drove over to Bear World and had fun there. Cruz left this morning with Rich's family and they dropped him off at Shawn's work (Shawn got back from Boise Thursday night). Saturday July 10th, we worked around the cabin getting it cleaned up and then went to Bud and Penny's house. We let the kids swim in the pond to cool off. It was such a fun week being with family!!!

Wednesday morning 6 of us got to go on a hot air ballon ride out of Driggs. Rich booked it and he took Clara, Russ, Ali, Macy, and me. It was my first time in a hot air balloon. It was so quiet and peaceful up in the air when the flame wasn't on. I was a bit nervous but it was pretty cool!
Tuesday - River Rafting adventure
Lexi, Shawn, and Ezra took the boat out on the evening of July 4th and slept on the boat. They woke up and had the lake to themselves. This is Lexi wakeboarding 1st thing in the morning. She got like 2 feet of air when she crossed the wake because the water was so smooth. She also did a dock start.
As much as I dislike tubing, we get some pretty good reactions!!
Pierce loved wearing this giant ATV helmet around, it was so funny to see him in it!

The night the 4th over in Alpine to see fireworks. We banned Richard from doing them because Utah and Idaho are in such a drought and there are major fines for lighting fireworks and if you set something on fire.
