Shawn turns 45!!!

 We celebrated Shawn on Monday!!!!  He turned 45!  It was a pretty normal day for him, work, soccer pick up, but we did have dinner and cupcakes together.  We love this guy!!!

Tricked

 On Sunday after dinner the kids were playing so well together outside on the tramp. It was 80 degrees and our first really warm weekend.  I was like, "oh they are playing so good together. I'll do their clean up jobs."  On Monday I found out that was all planned to get out of chores. Little stinkers!!!

Fun Friday Night

 

After Lexi's doctor appointment on Friday I took Alegra up to Esme's house for an afternoon shopping session :). I picked up Esme and then dropped the 2 girls off at Farmington Station.  Lexi and I then went to my doctor appointment and then picked up dad from home.  We meet the Cahoons and Alegra at Rio Grande down by the University of Utah for dinner.  It was so fun!

10 year well check and concussion :(

 I had Lexi scheduled for her 10 year well check for next week but she has been complaining daily about a headache ever since she bonked heads with a girl coming in from recess last week. I was able to get her in for her well check yesterday.  After going through a series of questions, the doctor said Lexi has a concussion. She basically can't return to her normal activities until her headaches stop.  So no iPad time, no reading, no recess, no pe, no trampoline, and no soccer until she can go a day without headaches.   She did measure in at 55.9 inches (72%), and she weighted in at 70.4 lb (43%).  Her body mass index is 15.8 (31%).

 Celebrated Lexi's 10th birthday at grammy's house for Sunday dinner too with her cousins!!

Alegra's Home Opener

Alegra had a game yesterday also.  I went to Lexi's but a dad from Alegra's team took a bunch of great shots.  They ended up winning too 4-0.

 

Lexi turns 10!!!

 Lexi is in double digits!  Can't believe my baby is 10.  She had fun celebrating her birthday.  We started with a little party Friday night the 18th.  We had Jane Weaver, Lyla Hathaway, Maddy Sorenson, and Deegan Butters (neighborhood friends) over to our house Friday night at 7 (after Cruz's lacrosse game) and took them to Get Air.  They had a blast and got all sweaty running around.  Then we came back to our house for brownies and ice cream and to open presents.  On Saturday, Lexi's actual birthday Dad went to go get awesome donuts for her team.  She had a game in the afternoon.  In the morning we chilled and built her new skateboard set.  Lexi had a great game and her team sang to her after the game.  For dinner we had a family dinner with ham sliders and golden graham bars and we rented the new Spider Man. Love my new 10 year old!!

St. Patricks Day!!!!

 

Got Grammy up on to Alta to ski for FREE since she is 80 years old!  It was the prefect day, new snow the day before, warm, and sunny.  We had such a lovely afternoon!  With a lunch stop of brats and sauerkraut at Alf's! 

The Leprechaun found our house St. Patty's day morning!!!
