 Cruz responded to Sophia last night. It was fun to go with him to take it to her house.  

Friday and Saturday of Fall Break

 Lexi and Shawn took off for Idaho on Friday morning.  Cruz had a job interview and Alegra was planning to go to Lagoon with some friends, so the 3 of us stayed at home.  We had a pretty lazy Friday morning.  We went to get breakfast at Black Bear Dinner.  A little later in the day we went to DI for the kids to "thrift".  They actually both found some good stuff.  Cruz then had his interview at La Caille. He got the position to be a "buser".  That night grammy picked us up and we took a beautiful drive up Big Cottonwood and ate dinner at Silver Fork.  It was such a nice day and a fun evening.

Lexi and Shawn attempted to get the boat on the water on Friday because it was a fairly warm day, but Shawn got scared he would get his truck stuck.

Adventures at Home:

Black Bear diner Friday morning with Alegra, Cruz, and Andrew Quilter.  

We woke up to a wet and rainy Saturday morning.  We decided to go to City Creek in the afternoon. Cruz needed some pants.  It was a fun shopping afternoon.  

We stopped to grab pizza at Este downtown before leaving the downtown area.  

We came home to watch movies and snuggle up!  

Thursday Fall Break Day

 Thursday and Friday of this past week were fall break. On Thursday the girls, grammy, and I went to Gardner Village to check out the Halloween festivities.  Cruz went with Jordan up LCC to do a photo shoot!  This past month has just been incredible with temperatures and fall colors!

At night I took the girls to the University of Utah's womens soccer game.  It got a little chilly so we left a bit early!

Shawn was in Omaha at the beginning of this past week.  Grammy came over and we got take out from High Note.  

Fall Biking

 I had such a fun time up at Solitude, Lexi and Shawn went up there a few nights ago to bike in the fall leaves!

 I officially need readers and I am 47.5 years old.  I was wondering when it was going to happen, and when it happens it happens fast and you know!!! 

Biz Town with Lexi!

 

These uploaded out of order, but Lexi and I had a great day at Biz Town.  Lexi worked at Rocky Mountain Power/Dominion Energy checking the gas meters and getting clean filters for all the businesses in Biz Town.  I helped the kids that got jobs at The Larry H. Miller Real Estate company.  I had fun eating lunch with Lexi, helping her deposit her check, and going with her to all the business to buy their goods and services.  

Coming into Biz Town for the first time, leaving childhood behind and becoming adults for the day!

Happenings.....

 

After church we packed up our bikes and met Shawn at Trailside to do the pump tracks.  Cruz is still feeling a bit under the weather, so he stayed home.  Lexi is really into biking right now, so it has been fun!

On Saturday I met up with my BFF Heather who recently moved to Heber from Oregon.  We were great friends in college but we have lived in different states since BYU.  She is splitting her time between Oregon and Utah right now. Her son was playing in the same Saturday league Cruz was in Farmington so we could meet up for a bit. So happy she will be closer!  She is so positive and really good for my soul! 

My mom sent this picture to me from Fiji. This man wouldn't leave her side once he found out she was 81 year old, haha!!!
