Shawn's 46th birthday was yesterday Tuesday March 28th. Cruz had a game and he had already offered to do the stats for the game. His birthday was pretty mellow - he picked up Lonestar for dinner after Cruz's game. I definitely need to step it up next year for him!
Cruz went on a quick trip down to St. George with the Young Men in our ward. The Larsens and Pughs have homes there so it made it a real nice trip. They didn't have great weather but they did get to play pickelball, go to the gun range, hike, and hangout! Super cool of these dads to take time out of their schedule to do these cool things with the boys!
I took Lexi to the instacare Monday morning because he finger was really bothering her after she jammed it on the game Friday night of her tournament. Turns out she has a broken finger!
Cruz had a 2 lacrosse games this week. The first one was on Tuesday close to Saratoga Springs (a bit of a drive) and the second one was at home on Thursday. Cruz didn't see the field on Tuesday but did get some playing time on Thursday. He is working hard and I hope he keeps on pushing himself. We also took him into a chiropractor to hopefully get some relief for his back that has been bothering him.
Shawn and I gave Lexi Bucks tickets for her birthday. We had fun at the game last night and the Bucks destroyed the Jazz!

Grandma Frye came for the week and she was able to see lots of games. Lexi had 2 games on Friday night. Cruz had a lacrosse game at the same time on Friday night so Alegra, dad, and Grandpa Frye went to Cruz's lacrosse game.
It was a pretty chilly evening but Cruz's team won!
Lexi had 2 more games on Saturday. Grandma Frye and dad went to the first game of Lexi's and then Shawn brought Grandma Frye over to Alegra's soccer game. Lexi's team won the last game, the championship game, so they are the champions. Alegra's team pulled out a win for their first spring league game.
The Leprechaun found us. I didn't get a picture with Cruz and Alegra but the Leprechaun left some Lucky Charms, some gold coins, and st. patty's day socks for each of the kids.
Big day for Alegra! She got her braces off. The day didn't go exactly how she planned though! We went into the Ortho at 8:00 a.m. this morning. They said she would be about an hour and 15 minutes so I left and ran to my gym that was 5 minutes away. Right when I was about an hour at the gym and just wrapping up I look down and there are messages from Alegra saying she threw up everyone and I needed to come now. I raced back and she was in the chair still getting work done on her mouth but her sweatshirt was off. When they were taking the impressions of her teeth to be able to make the retainer she was gagging a bunch and then all her breakfast came up. The poor girl working with her had to keep the impression in so they could get the mold but there was throw up all over. Then we found out because everything that was happening the impression didn't work. Luckily the Dr. was sympathetic to Alegra's gag reflex and he took a 3 D picture and is going to send out for her retainer. With all of that happening we had to go home and Alegra had to take a shower (because there was throw up in her hair) and get ready again. I thought I was going to have her to school at 9:30 but it turned out to be 11:20. Oh well! Her smile looks beautiful though!
