Target

Cruz and I were running a few errands in the afternoon yesterday and we decided to go into Target for a few items. We were walking past the childrens section and I saw a winter coat for Cruz. I got him out of the cart and had him try it on. He decided to run away from me and he was giggling as I chased him. He was having so much fun. He saw these long legs ahead of him in tan pants and I think he thought it was Shawn. He went right in between the mans legs and was holding onto each leg right underneath him. I was inches away from grabbing Cruz off the man when he moved suddenly (the man was on the cell phone and didn't even realize a little kid was around). The man moved and Cruz feel flat on his face. We have the fat lip to prove it. Cruz started bawling and then the blood. It was just oozing out of his mouth. Luckily I stayed pretty calm and asked a clerk for some paper towels. Cruz ended up bleeding all over the winter coat....I didn't know what to do with it so I bought it.....luckily it wasn't too expensive. I got Cruz calmed down, checked out, and decided to have a little rice krispy treat in the snack section at Target. I was able to wipe away most of the blood off his face while he enjoyed his yummy treat.
The fat lip a day later....it actually looks pretty nasty!
