"The 3 Carrots" at the Utah State Fair....notice Cruz somehow managed to squeeze half his body through the head hole.
We decided to go to the Utah State Fair tonight. All day it was rainy and cold and we were thinking we might have to change plans, but at about 4 p.m. the weather changed and it actually got sunny and fairly warm. We were lucky enough for Grandma Raddon to come with us. Cruz had his first pony ride and he LOVED it. He kept turning around and patting the pony on the butt and then he would just giggle. We walked around and saw some cows, goats, chickens, roosters, billy goats, and more. Cruz had a really good conversation with one of the sheep. Cruz rode on a Merry-go-Round and daddy also took Cruz on a hot air balloon amusement ride. At first Cruz was not so sure about the hot air balloon ride, Shawn said he got this look of sheer terror, but our tough little guy made it through the ride without a single tear, and actually by the end he was really enjoying it. Overall we had a great time. Cruz just didn't know which way to look first.

Oh Kelly, you definitely need to come see us! Cruz can visit all day long with the horses and goats right across the street from us:) No hot air balloon ride, I'm afraid. Is that a deal-breaker?
