13 months

Alegra is 13 months today. She is getting to be such a big girl. She got her 6th tooth in the last week or so. It is the little tooth on the top next to the top middle teeth (to the left of them). She is kind of attached to mommy right now but once she warms up to someone she is pretty happy with them. Alegra also really loves her daddy and whenever she sees him she gets so excited. She likes to giggle and she loves attention. On the way home on the airplane she was trying to get everyones attention on the plane by smiling and giggling and once she got someones attention she just kept going. It was so cute. She loves her brother Cruz but she doesn't like Santa (confirmed today as the kids sat on Santa's lap at the mall and she screamed the whole time). She likes to eat but sometimes spits out food that I thought she liked, it depends on the time and day with her whether she is going to like something or not. I have to be careful with her diet and make sure she gets plenty of apricots or prunes to keep her moving. She crawls all over the place and she pulls herself up to things all the time. No steps yet. She likes her pacy and she is still a really good sleeper on the 2 nap schedule. We love her so much.

We met Grammy, Aunt Ali, Georgia, Macy, Grant, and Walt at the mall today for lunch, a carousel ride, and then the kids and I stayed a little longer to talk to Santa. Cruz already go to talk to Santa once last week when Santa surprised us at Grandpa and Grandma Frye's home but Cruz wanted to ask Santa where Rudolph was.....so we waited in the line. When it came time for our turn the kids sat on Santas lap for a picture and Alegra started screaming. I was so busy trying to get her calmed down that I really wasn't listening to Cruz. Cruz told Santa what he wanted, a log loader, Marc's (his friend) snowcat, and Burke's (his friend) firestation with a firetruck, ambulance, and policeman. By the way, Cruz hasn't changed his request since we started asking him about 2 months ago. I thought that was pretty impressive for a 3 year old. When he was done telling Santa his requests we moved on and picked up our pictures and then he said, "oops I forgot to ask Santa about Rudolph!" Luckily he was in a good mood and didn't throw a fit. I wasn't about to wait in that line again. The picture is pretty classic of the kids but they wouldn't let me take one with my own camera. I will see if I can scan it.
