NEW TRUCK and GETTING MILES

So our truck was having some issues and we starting thinking about possibly trading in our truck.  It has 114,000....we woke up on Saturday with no real plan and Shawn wanted to take the truck in to the place that last fixed it because he didn't think they fixed it right, well, after a whole day at 2 different dealerships, we ended up with a new truck.  We usually are VERY SLOW in making large financial decisions, but we kinda went for it.  Luckily we had the money in our savings to cover the purchase after the trade in, but now we need to be smart about our money.  I wish we had gotten a picture of the old truck but in the picture below you can see the new truck with the old truck next to it!!!

 So we need to put 500 miles on the truck before Wednesday night because Shawn needs to pull the boat back up to Idaho on Wednesday night for Rich's work conference that is being held at the cabin. We took a Sunday drive up the Mirror Lake Highway and stopped at Mirror Lake with the kiddos yesterday, trying to get miles.  They weren't loving the drive, but we have to break in the engine!!!
