Fun Saturday!

We really packed it in this weekend.  Last night we went to the Brighton Homecoming game to watch football (for Cruz, he starts flag football this next week) and to see the cheerleaders and dancers (since Lexi and Alegra will be performing at in a Brighton Football game half time in a few weeks.  That was a lot of fun then today we packed it in. Shawn and I started with a bike ride up the Quarry Trail this morning.  Then we got dressed up and drove down to the Mt. Timpanogos Temple to see Fran, Steph and kids get sealed.  That was a lot of fun to see them all dressed in white together.  After the sealing, they had a picnic lunch right near the Temple.  Then we headed up and over American Fork Canyon to go towards Park City.  It was a longer drive than we expected but it was so pretty, the leaves have started changing.  We went over to the Utah Olympic Park were they had these giant slip n' slides set up off the ski jumps for people 12 years and older.  Shawn went off a pretty tall jump 2 times before it closed down. After the slip n' slide both Alegra and Cruz had an opportunity to do the ropes course.  Shawn and Alegra went on the junior ropes course, and Cruz went on the bigger one with Scott and Lisa.  After all that the kids still wanted to bike at Trailside Park so we headed there quick before the sun went down.  Cruz is looking really good on some on the rollers.  Alegra had fun riding some of the trick parts with dads help, and Lu had fun on her push bike.  ALL IN ALL, A GREAT FAMILY DAY!!!!
