parts for the primary program

the kids had their primary program this past Sunday and they did great.  Lexi really shouldn't be in primary but she comes because she doesn't want to be in the "baby" class.  She wasn't feeling well on Sunday, so she ended up going down from the stand and sat with Shawn.  Below were the kids parts.  I thought the spirit was beautiful and strong during the program.

Cruz -I turned 8 this past May.  I waited until July to get baptized.  I waited because I wanted to get baptized in the Snake River up in Idaho with all of my mom’s family there.  It was a beautiful summer evening with the sun going down when my uncle baptized me.  I felt VERY GOOD and very, very, COLD after I was baptized.  I was then confirmed and received the Gift of the Holy Ghost.  I am happy I was baptized because I became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  I also took upon me Jesus’ name.  That helps want to be a good person because I want to be like Jesus.  I am glad I received a very important gift that day too.  The Holy Ghost can help me, comfort me, and guide me in my life. 

Alegra-My name is Alegra. I can live like Jesus by being kind to people.

Lu-My name is Lexi Lu.  I feel my Savior’s love when I look at the beautiful mountains.
