Lexi had a doctors appointment with Dr. Pete today to try to figure out how to help her with her seasonal allergies. She has really been struggling this year with her allergies. I have tried several over the counter products and have even given her more than the recommended dosage, but nothing really has seemed to help a ton. I took her in and she was on one. She obviously feels very comfortable because she was so witty and funny and talkative. Its rare I see that side of her. She told him to call her "Alexis Lucille Frye". She described her symptoms in great detail, up to the brown buggies. She even used the phrase a "hot mess" when describing her headache. I was so glad I had a mask on because I had to keep the giggles and smile to a minimum. I was dying inside. I seriously wish I would have recorded the appointment. Pete ended up prescribing a prescription strength allergy pill, so I do hope that brings some relief. If we do have to go back, I'm definitely putting my phone on record.
