Mesa Verde

 

Shawn and Jeff went down to Mesa Verde on Friday to compete in the 12 hours of Mesa Verde ride on Saturday.  In the pre-ride on Friday night Shawn broke some of his gears on his regular mountain bike.  They took it into the bike store but they were unable to fix it by the time of the race in the morning.  Shawn happen to bring his single speed as well and so he had to do the ride ON A SINGLE SPEED.  The man is a machine!  It was a tag team event and Jeff and Shawn both completed the 16 mile loop 4 TIMES in the 12 hours of the total race.  They ended up placing 3rd in their division.  Wow, an incredible task!!!!
