We left on Thursday at about 1:00 p.m. to drive to Mesquite, NV for Alegra's Soccer Tournament. Shawn and Cruz stayed at home for work and school. Grammy joined us this trip! It was a little snowy on the drive down but not too bad. We also took Alegra's teammate Claire "Kickson" with us because her parents were out of town. We ate at Tifiny's crepes in St. George for dinner before checking in to the Holiday Inn in Mesquite. Several of Alegra's teammates were staying there so the girls had fun running around the hotel together. On Thursday Alegra played their first game at 2 and then they played again at 8. They lost the first game 1-2. The second game they played under the lights and they won 4-1. They played at 12:30 on Saturday and they tied 1-1. According the to point total (which it came down to the wire) Alegra's team got to play in the championship game. They played under lights again at 6:30 p.m. They played against the first team they went up against. That team was REALLY good. They ended up losing 0-4. I was so proud of how they played. Alegra is getting more aggressive and her passes are really precise. She had a really good tournament and she scored a goal in the 2nd game.
Lots of hanging out, eating, and messing around between games!
Really pretty fields to play on!
Lexi and Milo would play football the entire soccer game!
