Lemonade Stand for these 3!
Shawn, Kelly, Cruz (17 years old), Alegra (15 years old), and Lexi (12 years old).
Jeff Martinez sent me this fun photo of Shawn biking up in Park City last Tuesday evening. Cute note from Lexi this morning on the counter!
Lexi had another basketball tournament this past weekend at the Mountain America Expo Center. They were in a tougher division and it was hard. The first team they played was a Colorado team, we lost. The second team we played was from Nevada, they were so good. Lexi's team got destroyed. We won the 3rd game but then they had to play another game on Saturday and ended up losing to a Lone Peak bantam team. Overall, it was a tough tournament, but probably good for these girls to verse tough teams to learn and grow.
Isla went through her closet and sent us 2 huge boxes of clothes. Alegra is in heaven and it took her several days to go through this and get it organized. Super grateful Naomi sent these to us.
Pictures are a little out of order but the boys went to hike and ski down Suicide shoot while it still had snow. Love when they do stuff together!!
Lexi played 2 games on Thursday, 1 comeback win on Friday to put them into the championship game on Saturday. Unfortunately it was a super close game but Lexi's team came up short. Second place for the Lady Legends.
Alegra went to BYU soccer camp last week with some of her teammates. Alegra and Claire roomed together. We had a snafu at check in because a really crazy mom was begging us to switch rooms so her daughter could share a bathroom with some of her teammates. We obliged but it ended up messing up Claire and Alegra's counselor, which separated them from their team. I spend a few hours on the phone on Monday super irate for helping this random mother out who promised she cleared it and it wouldn't change a thing. I explained our case and ended up getting Claire and ALegra back with their original counselor with the rest of their teammates. The problem is, i think that stared off the camp on the wrong foot and it ended up kinda being a tough year at BYU soccer camp for Alegra. I don't think she will be doing it again next year!
