Shawn and Lexi took off Friday morning to go to Reno. They made it to Reno by Friday afternoon and then they took off to West Lake Tahoe to see the lake and eat dinner.
Saturday morning up to eat breakfast at the Hotel and then rest a bit before at 2 p.m. Saturday game.
Huge convention center with lots of courts!
The Lady Legends won the first game. The girls went to a movie together after the game to celebrate Jordan (a girl on their teams) birthday. The went to the new Little Mermaid. Afterwards Lu and Shawn grabbed dinner and watched the 6th game of the eastern conference finals between the Heat and the Celtics. The Celtics won at a buzzer beater to take it to game 7.

The girls had 2 games on Sunday. The one in the afternoon they won. Then they had a game late Sunday night. It wasn't supposed to be that late but the courts got off schedule. Unfortunately, they lost that game. It was a tough one to lose. That put them into the consolation bracket for 3rd and 4th place. Lexi played really tough though.
The girls won their game on Monday afternoon to take 3rd place. After the game Shawn and Lexi took off to go camping in Great Basin National Park.
Because the game was a bit later they decided to stay the night in Eureka Nevada, a super small town.
Tuesday morning they were off to Great Basin.
Shawn had lined up a cave tour Tuesday afternoon for the 2 of them.
They camped Tuesday night!
On the way home Wednesday they stopped to look for Trilobites and eat a late lunch in Delta before making their way home. I missed seeing all the games and hanging out with these 2 but so glad they got to spend some time together!
