Our girl turned 12!!!

 Lexi turned 12 yesterday! I can't believe our baby is 12. I am so proud of how hard she works to accomplish the tasks set before her in life. She had such a fun week leading up to her actual birthday.  We had a chocolate cake the Sunday a week before with Russ's family.  The following Sunday we did brownies and ice cream to celebrate Lexi. On Monday,  Lexi invited 3 friends to go to Top Golf with our family.  Emi, Romney, and Zoey were 3 cute new friends Lexi has made this year.  Lexi really doesn't have friend birthday parties so she was so worried, but it was so fun and the girls were so nice.  We kinda just hung out in the background and Cruz and Alegra took their turns hitting balls but the 4 girls just hung out, golfed, and ate dinner!  

We came home Monday night and opened presents because Dad and Cruz were going to be gone all the next day with work/school and a lacrosse game all the way up past Ogden.  Lexi loved her gifts - a basketball, and new shirt that says, "I'm the bus driver and I am taking you to school".  It's an old school AND1 t-shirt.  She got new dunks and a new Nike sweatshirt from Grammy.  

Birthday morning - Tuesday March 19th.  School and then out to an early dinner with grammy, Walker, Elle, Russ, Alegra, Lexi, and I.  

Lexi loved a soda that I thought they only sold in Hawaii, but I was able to find some on Amazon and it came late Tuesday night. I fun last birthday surprise!!!
