4th of July Week up in Idaho 2024!

 The kids and I drove up to Idaho on Sunday after church.  Shawn needed to get a few more days in at work.  We made it up to Idaho in time for Sunday dinner.  When we arrived Russ, Walker, grammy, Walt, and Grant were there.  On Monday we decided to head over to Jackson Hole.  It was us, grammy, and Walker.  Russ and his boys went golfing.  

We ate lunch of the square, shopped a bit, Cruz got a spinner rod, and then went to Snow King for the kids to ride the Mountain Coaster!

TUESDAY - It was a little cool but we decided to go out on the boat!  

Cruz and Alegra surfed and Lexi wakeboarded, she was just farther away so I didn't get a great picture

When we got home the Jacksons had arrived at the cabin and same with Ryan and his girls!

WEDNESDAY - Another cooler day but we waited for it to warm up and then went out on the water again!

Naomi flew the helicopter in Wednesday afternoon and of course Square Ice cream.  

THURSDAY  - 4th of July parade in Victor.  Our tradition!

Heath was obsessed with the helicopter.  Naomi took the Jacksons (minus Farrah) for a ride too!

We also sang to Naomi because her birthday is on the 5th but she was leaving early in the morning.

Murphy was getting very nervous, he really dislikes the fireworks.  Grammy was getting so upset about it

Russ, Grant, and Walker did a pretty awesome job!  

FRIDAY and SATURDAY more time on the lake.  It finally had warmed up! 

Cruz's padowan braid that he got when he was in Mozambique fell off during our 4th of July week, I wasn't too sad to see that thing go.  

SUNDAY - The pictures loaded backwards.  We went to church and then we came home and got all packed up.  Cruz and Walker went on a quick 4 wheeler ride up rainy creek - they got a little dirty!!

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY BOAT TIME!

Shawn's an awesome surfer but I caught this funny fall.  

Friday night we went to the rodeo in Driggs.  It was so fun and really beautiful to watch the sunset on the arena!

SATURDAY was more boat time!

On Saturday Cruz was able to stick a 360 and get back to surfing.  We have a video for proof!  He is the first one to stick it and keep surfing.  The whole week was really fun. We missed those that couldn't make it, especially Rich's family, but having a bit of a smaller group seemed more manageable this year!  

Uncle Ryan put his girls on a private plane back to LA and he decided to start his way back to LA in the helicopter.  Cruz was able to fly with him from Idaho Falls to Salt Lake.  He beat us home!
