Grandpa Frye and Cruz
Daddy and Cruz apple picking!
On Saturday we woke up and the sun was out! Yippee! We had planned to go apple picking and we weren't sure if the weather was going to cooperate or not. Shawn and I both grew up apple picking in the fall time, so this was one of our requests to do while we were in the midwest. We went to a farm called Elegant Farmer. The boys had a great time running around in the apple orchards, picking apples, eating apples, climbing trees, and riding in the wagon.
Saturday afternoon/evening Kathy planned a Halloween Party at her house with the whole Waldoch clan (Kathy's brothers and sisters and their kids and their kids). All of the little kids wore Halloween costumes and Kathy planned a scavenger hunt for them in the yard (again, lucky the weather cooperated :)). We had yummy food and fun family time.
We borrowed this adorable frog costume from Leigh. Max went as a frog the year before and Max is about one year older than Cruz. I thought Cruz looked so cute!

Kelly, We went up to an pumpkin patch/apple orchard in Delaware this weekend and I was telling my in-laws about going apple picking at Wauconda Apple Orchards as a child. I loved that place! Looks like you are having a fabulous time...now you just need to get out to VA:)
XOXO
Karen
