This year we started a new tradition that I am glad we started. Each night, starting on the 1st of November, we would say something we were thankful for. We put our cards in this cute tree I got from Pottery Barn Kids. I think it helped us all think of being thankful all month. We mostly wanted the kids i.e. Cruz to really understand it is important to be grateful for each and everything everyday! Here is our month:
1st- The wonderful world! -Cruz/ Cruz and Alegra -Dad/ A warm home - mom
2nd -Playing with Carter- Cruz
3rd- Toast with Honey -Cruz
4th- A safe drive to Idaho -mom
5th- Idaho-Cruz
6th- Snow-Cruz
7th- Going to school-Cruz
8th- Playing with Carter and having a snowball fight-Cruz/ Grandma Toliver, it is her b-day, she would have been 101-mom
9th- Playing with Imaginext-Cruz
10th- Grandpa Frye (it is his birthday)-all of us
11th-Scaring Carters mom when she picked up Carter-Cruz/ All of the Veterans-mom and dad
12th- Pears at dinner last night-Cruz/ Snow-dad/ food to eat-mom
13th- Dad doing so much for us-Cruz/ Thankful I could help dad-mom
14th- Kids that listen when we get pictures taken-mom/ a small Lego gift for being a good boy-Cruz
15th- Playing with new lego alien ship-Cruz
16th- Moms, dads, and sisters-Cruz
17th- A good ultrasound showing us a baby girl-mom
18th- Bicycles-dad/ Legos-Cruz/ Log Haven-mom
19th- Playing with Imaginext-Cruz/ helping dad-Cruz/ Cruz, a good restaurant wonder-dad/ healthy kids-mom
20th- Church-Cruz
21st- My bed-Cruz
22nd- Alegra-All of Us!
23rd- Balloons-Cruz
24th- Thanksgiving-All of Us!!!
