It was a gorgeous day today and the kids and I went out on a stroller/scooter/bike ride today. It was nice to get out!

Happy 35th Birthday!

Shawn turned 35 today!!! We love our dad so much!! He kind of got cheated this year because I didn't plan too much but he got to spend it with his parents and Grandma Frye stepped in and made a delicious dinner and a yummy chocolate cake!!! Luckily, I was kind of on the ball and had the kids make him plates about a month ago, so at least we had something to give him! We have THE BEST husband and father ever!!! We love you!

Pictures and Easter Hunt

We had some pictures taken of Lexi Lu and the kids today. These are just a couple of pictures of me and my baby girl that Kathy took of me and Alexis after the photographer left! I love my baby girl!!!




G & G Frye promised the kids an Easter Egg Hunt if they were good for the pictures. Considering I think Cruz has strep again, they did pretty well, so they earned their Easter Egg Hunt. Cruz and Alegra both had fun finding hidden eggs and treasures. Cruz got a headlamp, Alegra got a set of bunnies, and Lexi got a bib. Cruz was such a good big brother and helped Lexi find stuff, even though she was inside the house sleeping!!!

Shawn is the expert newborn baby bath giver. It always makes me so nervous, but he is a "pro" at it!!!

One week old!

We had a birthday party celebrating Lexi's almost one week old birthday on Sunday night. It included presents, musical chairs, and musical pass the ball. It was a real party!!!! :)

So we kind of went back and forth on how to shorten Lucille. I originally thought we were going to spell it Lou but I think we decided it makes more sense to spell it "Lu" like the beginning of Lucille. So after a week on this earth I think we figured out how to spell our daughters name :)

Alegra Skiing!

Cruz had his 4th of his 5 ski lesson today up at Snowbird. Since the conditions aren't that great, Shawn took Alegra to work on her skiing. G & G Frye went and watched and got some pictures. Alegra is a little ski bunny. She didn't want to stop!



Cruz is doing really well at skiing too. His teacher had his little class up at Baby Thunder all day. I can't wait to ski with him next year, I think I will be surprised with how much he has learned this year.
