Lexi turned two weeks on Monday. We went to her 2 week old appointment yesterday. I was all worried because I thought she got shots but she actually only got a prick in the foot for her PCU. She weighed in at 8 lbs 6 oz. (up 5 ounces, she was 8.1 at birth). She grew 2 inches and measured at 21 inches long (she was 19 at birth), and her head measured at 35.5 cm (at birth her head was 34.5). For height she is 75% right now, for weight she is 51% right now, and her head is 37% right now. The doctor says she looks good. She lost her umbilical cord on day 8 of life and her belly button is looking good. She does seem to be gassy still. She was really gassy at the hospital, intact the nurses were very impressed with how stinky her gas actually was. When she came home that seemed to get better but she still seemed to burp a bit more than Alegra. Right now she is back to really gassy and burpy. Hopefully we can get that figured out because I do think it affects her sleeping. She is making it 3 to 4 hours at night between feedings but when she gets up for that early morning feeding around 4 or 5 she has a VERY hard time going back to sleep, and I think it is partially because all of the gas in her stomach. She is such a good baby though. For having 2 little faces all over you all the time, she does pretty well :)
