Goofball!

She is such a ham, but a stubborn little ham at that too! Lately Alegra has been having trouble sleeping at night. She has been waking up in the middle of the night. She gets so nervous that we are going to lock her in her room, that she always says, "don't lock door!" when we put her down at night. I locked her in once at night just to get her to stay in her room for nap, and then Shawn held her door a couple of times to get her to stay in her room at bed time. I think we totally created a fear in her now, yikes! And when Lexi starts crying to eat, Alegra hears her and gets up. So needless to say, not too much sleeping is being done in our household, except for Cruz!!! :)

Another thing Alegra is into right now is saying, "I do it by ME self!" Getting dressed, getting in her car seat, helping her down stairs....."I do it by me self!"

She also says "what?" at least 150 times a day. I think she hears but I am considering getting her hearing tested, she did have many ear ruptures when she was little. I think it is more of her automatic response when she doesn't understand what I am talking about, but I am not totally sure!

Alegra also loves to sing. She sings in the car, when I push her on the swings, when she plays, etc. Her favorite song is, "Lean on Me". Shawn started singing that to her at bed time about a month ago and she really has taken a liking to it. She knows all the words that Shawn sings to her. Alegra also likes Twinkle, Monkey, and ABC's. She is really good at knowing the words on lots of songs too! Pretty impressive!

This is the box that all of our diapers came in, wow!
