Easter

Getting ready to dye eggs. When I told Cruz what we were doing he thought we were going to "kill" the eggs. I had to explain to him that we were just going to color the eggs!

We had a pretty quiet Easter Sunday. We colored Easter eggs on Friday evening. The kids had a pretty good time doing that! Having a new baby and not wanting her to be around lots of people and germs, we pretty much hung out at home on Sunday. In the morning we did take the kids up to Snowbird for a little Easter Egg Hunt they do in the snow first thing in the morning. The kids had fun running around gathering eggs. Cruz gave the Easter bunny a high five, but Alegra didn't want anything to do with him at the time. Now she wants to give him high five and she doesn't understand that he is gone until next year.

Cruz liked gathering eggs at home and at Snowbird. We tried to hold him back so Alegra could get some at home! Shawn and Cruz went on a nice bike ride since the weather was beautiful yesterday. For dinner we went over to Grammy's house. It was just us, Grammy, Aunt Rebecca, and her friend Justin. Pretty quiet Sunday dinner for us. Grammy hid a bunch of eggs inside her house and outside for the kids as well. They had fun finding those eggs too! Lexi just went along for the ride!!! :)

The Easter bunny was good to our kids. Cruz got a Lego Space shuttle, a Scooby Doo coloring book, a small bubble toy, and a chicken that poops gum balls! Alegra got a little rabbit house, a Hello Kitty coloring book, a small bubble toy, and a chicken that poops gum balls. Lexi got a cool bubble machine and a soft rabbit.
