We had a busy busy fun day today! First we started off by picking up Grammy. Then we drove to Sundance. We decided to take the scenic route up thru American Fork Canyon and down the Alpine Loop into Sundance. The leaves are absolutely breathtaking right now. The Aspens are such a beautiful golden color. It was such a pretty ride. We met Rebecca and her boyfriend Dave for lunch (Dave is in town this weekend to visit Rebecca). We had a yummy lunch at the restaurant at Sundance, they have the best sweet potato fries. As a momma I was also really happy because they had salmon on the kids meal and Cruz ordered it and gobbled it down. I love when they have healthier options for kids to pick. Alegra on the other hand had grilled cheese, which isn't the worst, but then proceeded to just pick all the cheese off the sandwich, which is what she does lately with grilled cheese, without eating any of the bread!

After we ate lunch and snapped a few pictures we went to the BYU Football game. I don't have any pictures because I was holding Lexi and she slept most of the first half and I didn't want to move. We left during the 3rd quarter. Actually all of the kids did great but we wanted to get to Shawn's fall party at a decent time. So, we loaded the kids up and drove to Wheeler Farms. Luckily they all got a little nap in going from one fun event to another. It turns out we left the game at a good time because BYU was holding its own against Oregon but after we left it all went down hill for BYU.
At Wheeler Farms Shawns Boss was passing out coupons to do a hay maze and pick a pumpkin. We also got to take a tractor ride, decorate the pumpkins, eat dinner, and play on the playground. There were so many families taking family photos at Wheeler Farms too. I want to remember if we ever want a "fall family picture" have it taken at Wheeler Farms around this time, the colors were just beautiful.
So I went to wait in line for us at the Tractor ride and Shawn took Cruz and Alegra in to where they were milking the cow. They were just finishing up but they said the kids could milk. Alegra didn't want to but Cruz did. After he milked the cow he said, "that was kind of gross!" Shawn said, "you did great buddy, why was it gross?" And Cruz's response, "because I was milking the cows penis!" Shawn then tried to explain that the cow was a girl and it was like how mom feeds Lexi. I thought that was pretty classic though.
