Day/Night at Snowbird
Shawn and I bought 10 tickets up at Snowbird for this ski season that we can share. It is called a 10 to share. If we bought it by a certain date we got a bunch of perks. One of them being a free night up at the Cliff Lodge at Snowbird. We had to use it by the 30th of November. We didn't have too much going on yesterday so we called and could get a room. Shawn took Alegra and Cruz up skiing in the early afternoon. Cruz can pretty much ski by himself down Chickadee and Shawn stayed with Alegra to teach her to ski down Chickadee. Actually Cruz has gotten a little too confident on Chickadee. He goes down with basically no turns. That can be dangerous because he isn't in total control and there are lots of other "non-controlled" skiers on that hill too. I hope he doesn't learn a lesson in a hard way. Alegra is doing really good holding on to Shawn's pole as he skies backwards in front of her. Lexi took her afternoon nap and home and then we went up to join them. After skiing the 3 of them went in the outside heated pool and the hot tubes. I was a little nervous to get Lexi too chilled, so we just watched. They had a lot of fun. After swimming and getting changed we went to dinner at "El Chante" a mexican restaurant located at Snowbird. They had an arcade located across from the restaurant so the kids got to play in there for a bit after dinner. At that point it was 7 p.m. and the entire gang was pooped. Cruz had Carter over for a sleepover the night before so he was especially tired. Lexi and I went home to sleep. The 3 of them had a sleep over at Snowbird. Shawn said Cruz fell asleep within 15 seconds of his head hitting his pillow....now that is when you know you have had a good day!!!! :)
Cruz got tired of waiting for dad and Alegra at the bottom of the hill so he just decided to get on the lift by himself....Shawn looked up and saw him on the lift all by himself....CLASSIC!!!!
I love this look, bathing suits and winter boots!
Lexi really enjoying watching her brother, sister, and dad swim!
