Macy watched Lexi and Alegra when I took Cruz to Little Gym. The boys had their shirts off so of course, Alegra had to take her shirt off, then Macy thought it would be funny to take Lexi's shirt off and get a picture!
An Alegra saying, "Zuse" for the word "use", I LOVE IT!

Money Bags
This little guy went around the neighborhood selling animals that he has won at different carnivals/fairs thru out his life. He had some money but he wanted to earn more so we could go to the Toy Store and buy a new Beyblade! He is my LOVER of money. And once he gets it, he likes to spend it!!
An example of one of the animals he was selling in one hand and the other hand has his new Beyblade (recent fascination with these, it has always been all about Legos)
It is so nice today. Alegra was lovin' wearing her ducky hat and sunglasses playing outside on the swing set all by herself while Cruz was playing Beyblads and I was trying to make some Zucchini bread!
Little Lexi lovin' the swings! She is my chill baby, she definitely likes her attention but she is pretty "go with the flow" most of the time!

Coloring Easter Eggs
I said we were dying Easter eggs tonight and Alegra got very concerned, dying eggs? They are going to Heaven? I had to choose my words wisely and tell her we were coloring them. I wasn't as hands on as I would have liked to be but I was kind of triple teamed. I was trying to get dinner made, Lexi woke up crabby and wanted to be held, and Cruz and Alegra were really wanting to dye eggs. They actually did pretty good without too much mess!

Alegra and Dad's Date
Cruz had a birthday party for Carter right after ski lessons. Alegra has been wanting to do something special with dad for a while now, so tonight they had their date. Dad first took Alegra skiing at Snowbird on Chickadee, then they went swimming and hot tubing at the Snowbird lodge, and then they went and ate dinner at the Wildflower at Snowbird. Alegra was so excited all day. She even wanted me to paint her fingers and toes for her date. It was so cute. Lexi and I went shopping with Grammy to look for dresses to wear to Rebecca's wedding. I had some luck but Grammy didn't really find anything. Both Cruz and Alegra were in bed when I got home so I couldn't ask them how each of their special nights were. I will update tomorrow!
Alegra and her new pal Esme
We just started doing play dates with Esme. She is right about Alegra's age (her birthday is December) and I knew her mom, Stacey, from when I was single. Stacey just got married this past summer, but her husband was married before and they adopted Esme when she was a baby. Stacey's husband's first wife past away from Cancer and so know Stacey is Esme's full time mom. She is a very cute little girl. Alegra and Esme play pretty well together. They had a major fight right before Esme went home on Friday though. I texted Stacey later with a picture of Alegra sleeping (which she rarely does anymore) saying she was tired. Stacey texted back with a picture of Esme sleeping too, saying she was tired too.
I love how they kind of look like twinners sleeping.....same sleeping position, blonde hair, same sheets, etc.

Teeth #5,6,7, and 8 here and one on the way
Lexi got her teeth in next to the 4 she had. One on each side on the top next to the two middle teeth and one on the bottom. The bottom right one is just about thru. She has been pretty good but tonight she was fussy and then threw up after dinner. I guess she either has the stomach flu or it could be teething. Poor thing!!!!

Lexi's One Year Appointment
Lexi went to see Dr. Pete today for her one year appointment. She weighed in at 18lb. 14oz. which is 17% for her age. She measured 30.5 inches long which is 90%. Our Lexi is a long lean machine!! :) Her head measured 44.2cm which is 25%. I really didn't have too many questions for Dr. Pete. Lexi has been very easy going and such a good baby lately. She is still nursing 4 times a day and Dr. Pete said I will know when she wants to wean. The sad part of the visit was when she had to have 4 shots (immunizations) in her thighs. She really cried hard when she got them but she settled down pretty fast. The rest of the evening she was pretty normal, which made me happy. I can't get enough of this cutey!!!

Lexi's 1st Birthday
Today is Lexi's 1st Birthday but we had a celebration for her on Sunday. We had lots of family over for her birthday. Rick and Kathy Frye were still in town, they gave her a little stacking toy, some pants (since she is crawling she is wearing out her knees of her pants), a bib and matching baggy that Kathy made. Fran, Steph, Wyatt, Walker, and Lucy came over earlier for a pizza dinner and stayed for the party of cake and ice cream. My mom came over with Rebecca. Grammy gave Lexi a 1st birthday pink Teddy Bear and some Salt Water White Sandals. Rebecca gave Lexi some neon colored onesies for summer. Russ, Ali, Georgia, Macy, Grant, and Walt came over for the birthday cake celebration too and they got Lexi a cute top and skirt for summer. Cruz and Alegra gave Lexi a book and Shawn and I gave Lexi a mirror to put in the minivan so I can see her and a bubble machine blower. I didn't go to overboard on gifts, since she doesn't know the difference any way. I did go overboard on decorations, but I LOVED every bit of it. Her theme was pink with white polka dots. I had wrapping paper, big tissue paper balls hanging from the ceiling, a pink and white polk a dot banner, pink plates, pink forks, strawberry milk, strawberry ice cream, a white cake with pink dots, some pink and white boxes for popcorn and smaller boxes for tootsie rolls (for a take away). I thought it looked super cute.
Our little lady is getting more daring and loves to open drawers and pull things out. She can pull herself up to a stand but hasn't tried to walk yet. She seems more petite than Cruz and Alegra at this age. She is very easy going and goes with the flow. She loves her pact. She is a pretty good eater, doesn't like strawberry's though. She likes to say "giggle giggle" "mama" and "ball".
Here are some pictures from the party.
I had made the cakes on Saturday and then Shawn helped me decorate the cake on Saturday night. He is usually the one to put the frosting on and do the decorating on the kids cakes for their birthdays!
Lexi didn't get any HUGE gift, I just asked for a bunch of boxes at Target and they gave them to me. I thought they would be good decorations, and at this age all they really like doing is the unwrapping and playing with boxes anyway!
I made a lemon buttercream cake for her birthday. It was pretty sweet, Lexi really didn't care for it, BUT I had pink strawberry ice cream to go with it and she LOVED that. I am so grateful to have my 3 babies in my life!!!
