Preschool Orientation Day

Alegra had her preschool Orientation Day at Teeter Toddler Preschool.  We are super excited to start next Wednesday!!!  Alegra will go to school this year on Mondays and Wednesday from 9:30 to 11:30. Her teacher is Mrs. Sarah and she seems very nice. Alegra is in a class with 12 GIRLS, no boys, kinda crazy!!!!

Temple Square

Shawn is in Denver this week for work. The kids and I went down to Temple Square to visit Grammy once Cruz got off the bus from school.  We met Grammy for dinner at the top of the Joseph Smith Building and then walked around Temple Square for a bit. The kids love visiting the "Christus". It is pretty incredible to see this in person.

Girls and Bubbles

It has been strange having Cruz gone at school all day.  One day last week we had fun just getting the bubbles out and playing!  I have a LOVE/HATE relationship with bubbles.  They keep the kids entertained and they love them, but they are messy and get the kids all sticky, oh well!!!

In 10 years will I remember the mess or the giggles?, I think the GIGGLES!!!!  Bring on the BUBBLES!!!

Grammy's 72nd!

Grammy turned 72 on Sunday August 25th.  We had a little dinner at our home Sunday night.  We had brats, fresh corn on the cob, garden beets, yams on the barbecue, and Ali brought yummy Texas sheet cake and homemade peach ice cream!  We love Grammy so much!

Sassy Pants Alegra

Alegra is a little sassy pants some times....she is so cute but she can sas a little too.  The days she has swim lessons she is pretty pooped. It was 100 degrees out today but she wanted to wear pants and a long sleeve top.  This was after swim lessons when she fell asleep on my bed.  Because she is so focal and smart sometimes I forget she is still little.  Love this little bug!
