Gardner Village
Cruz had no school today so we made our annual fall trip to Gardner Village today. I wanted to get there right when it opened because I knew it was going to be crowded with Canyons School District off today. That was one of the many nice things about Cruz being in Kindergarten or Preschool, we could do those things whenever we wanted. We got there right at 10 and no one was really there. We had the whole petting zoo and pony ride area to ourselves. The kids got to help set up one of the ponies with their saddle by brushing her and helping strap on the saddle. We had all the animals to ourselves after the kids got a long ride through Gardner Village. They even gave both Alegra and Cruz an egg from the chicken coop. I put Lexi on the one pony before Cruz hopped on and she was fine until the pony sneezed. She started crying and wanted nothing to do with the pony after that. We had fun walking around looking at all the fun Halloween decorations and all the fun witches they have set out. It was a fun, nice, warm fall day to be able to hang out together!
