Lovin' this warm weather!

We took Alegra to the doctor this morning because she has Croup. She is terrible at night with a hard time breathing and a seal-like cough, but in the day she is somewhat fine!  The nights are terrible though so Dr. Pete put her on a steroid.  The girls had fun playing in the backyard after the appointment.

After the appointment we had to run to the pet store to get more bark for T's cage (we desperately need to clean his rubber maid tupperware out).There were these beanie babies at the check out area. I was so surprised that Alegra wasn't asking for one. Lexi tried grabbing at them a few times but we got out of there relatively with no complaining.  Right when I was about to pull out of the parking stall Alegra started telling me that she brought her money. Then I saw her pull out this Beanie Baby whale, that she had stuck in her shirt.  I told her I was glad she told me but that I had to return that.  We hadn't paid for it yet.  I talked to her about what stealing is and asked she not do it again! :)

Little Gym

I signed Lexi up for a Little Gym class a couple of weeks ago.  She loves it!

 It has been so warm that the flowers are starting to try and come up but Lexi is ready for a snow storm!!!

February 23rd and almost 60 degrees!!

We had fun this morning before church riding our bikes. It was so nice and sunny and warm, made me excited for spring, which it totally felt like!

Warm Winter

We have had a strange winter.  Really not a lot of snow and for the most part fairly warm.  On Monday, it was really warm (for February) so the girls and I went to the park. They have a lot of fun playing!

 Yesterday I had to take Alegra to Dr. Kelly's office in Bountiful to check her ears. She has been complaining that her ears hurt. The tubes looked to be fine and he did a strep test just in case because her throat was a bit red but it came back negative.  So kind of strange but happy she is healthy!!

warm fun weekend

It has been so warm this weekend. The kids have enjoyed playing outside and it has been fun for them to be able to go outside and get some energy out!  Shawn took the kids to the RV show at South Town Expo Center.  They wanted ALL of the RV's and campers!

We ended up meeting Bobbi and her kids at about 5:30 at Airborne.  The kids had a blast jumping with Bobbi's kids.  We came home and I had made some crock pot chicken noodle soup and Shawn finished up dinner before we got home by making heart (cookie cutter) grilled cheese sandwiches.  During dinner Cupid made a drop off (a ding dong ditch) of little gifts for the kids.  I got a globe. Shawn got a new dress shirt.  Cruz got the rainbow loom with some bands.  Alegra got a pink dog purse and Lexi got a Mickey Mouse backpack. They were all excited.  They each got some peeps and some gummy chocolate bears too.  It was a very fun Valentines Day!!!

Valentines Day...so far

We have had a wonderful Valentines Day so far.  We started a tradition last year :) of going to Kneaders for breakfast.  We did it again this year and it was yummy. Cruz loves at Italian Omelet they have, and we don't go there for breakfast any other time of year, so it is special!  Dad went to work from Kneaders and Cruz made it just in time for school.  Then, Dad, Alegra, and I went into Cruz's classroom at 12:45 for his Valentines Day Party.  We were in charge of the "pin the lips on the heart" station!  Cruz loved having his dad at his school!!!  Cruz made a cute Valentine Mailbox at school to collect Valentines.  The kids are so happy today!!! We are at home just chilling for a bit right now, here are some pictures up to this point!!
