We Love Swan Valley!

We spent a long weekend in Swan Valley and had a great time! Cruz didn't have school on Friday (due to having parent teacher conferences last week), so we picked up Shawn from work at about 5:30 on Thursday evening and headed off to Swan Valley. Grammy and I had feed the kids before we started out so we made pretty good time getting up there and the kids slept about the last 2 hours of the trip. On Friday we just hung around the cabin. It was so nice and relaxing. It snowed on and off that day but wasn't too chilly. We went on walks, rode in the razor, Cruz and Shawn cut down a tree a beaver had taken out, the kids did crafts, and played outside a bunch. I seriously love it up there. On Saturday we went to Grand Targhee to ski. It was a blue bird day with warm temperatures. Grammy, me, and Shawn took turns staying in the lodge with Lexi. It was fun to see both Cruz and Alegra ski and see how much they have improved with their ski lessons up at Snowbird. Cruz, Grammy, and I went up on Dreamcatcher, the main lift, and we skied some pretty steep stuff to come down and Cruz was amazing. In fact, at one point Grammy got a little nervous and he was like, "Grammy you can do anything you decide to do!" Totally pep talking her. It was one of the funnest days skiing I have had in a while! On Sunday we went to church in the morning and then packed up and cleaned up a bit at the cabin. We had a nice drive home with out too many fights between the kiddos. We drove the mini van so the DVD player did help! We love spending time in Swan Valley!
