Early Family birthday cake

Tonight we sang to Walt (his birthday was yesterday) and Cruz (his birthday is in a week).  Shawn made our famous chocolate cake for dessert since both boys LOVE chocolate cake!  It was really yummy!!!

 We put 9 candles on the cake since Walt turned 9 and it was more candles for both boys to blow out!

Lexi gave her pacy to the monkies a week and 2 days ago.  It has been o.k. except for the fact she can't soothe herself  to sleep for nap time.  She has napped like 2 days in the week and 2 days.  She didn't nap today and this is what she was zoning out after eating her piece of chocolate cake!!!

Field Trip to the Thanksgiving Point Farms with Alegra's class!

 We went to the Thanksgiving Point Barn today with Alegra's preschool class. It was fun to see all the animals, ride the pony, and take a ride around the farm.

Easter Sunday 2014

We had a wonderful Easter.  The Easter bunny paid a visit to our home.  Cruz got a Lacrosse bounce back net, Alegra got an Elsa dress from Frozen, and Lexi got a new bubble machine. They all got a little bit of candy.  After the kids looked at their Easter baskets then they went to find eggs.  In the eggs they found change, and some small candies.  We had a nice breakfast and then put some warmer clothes on and headed up to Snowbird for their Easter egg hunt.  Lexi was a little nervous of the Easter Bunny that was walking around on the hill, she wanted me to hold her the entire time.  The kids had fun.  We came home and got ready for church.  Dad unfortunately had to leave for a work trip to Sacramento when we went to church.  After church we went to grammy's house to have dinner.  Russ and the kids came too, but Ali is too sick (because of her chemo treatment).

Half of a Half

My friend Stacey and I each ran half of a half marathon today. We weren't ready for the full half so we split it.  I ran the first part and she ran the second part.  It was fun!

STA-CATION DAY #5

Today we went to the zoo.  Dempsey wanted to play so I offered to take him to the zoo with us. Dempsey is a really cute little boy and he is really good for me but for some reason Cruz and him are "CRAZY" together.  It made the zoo pretty tough and I had to stop at the grocery store on the way home and that was tough. To top it off, we left Lexi's pacy for the baby monkeys at the zoo.  She was o.k. with it at the time but when I put her down for a nap she cried for 2 hours, to say the least, my nerves are fried!!!  I think I am just going to put 1 pacy in her crib and she has to keep it in her pillow, I need her to be able to nap still, I need that time!!  Today was fun for the kids but I am a little crazy right now :).  I also forgot my phone in the car at the zoo so I didn't document anything today, bummer!

STA-CATION #4

Today we hiked Bell Canyon.  We met Stacey and Esme and packed lunches and headed up to the reservoir.  We had a few falls on the way down but it was fun overall.  Esme came over to play in the afternoon and Cruz's friend Johan came over too.  For dinner we met dad at Sushi Time for a special dinner!
