April Fools Day!

I thought it would be funny to put marker mustaches on the kids last night for April Fools Day!  Shawn was a good sport and played along this morning!

 At first Cruz kind of thought it was funny but I don't know if he woke up on the wrong side of the bed but the rest of the morning was AWFUL.  He slammed his doors, broke his blinds (they were temperamental so I don't think that was totally on purpose), wrote me a hate note to find tonight when I went to bed, tried to get out of school by saying he had a stomach ache, wouldn't get dressed by himself, I totally flew off the handle and got very upset and hurt his foot on accident, but we did finally get him to school (5 minutes late)........talk about prank gone wrong!!!!

When Cruz got home from school he was in a much better mood.  I was able to go up to his room and have a heart to heart with him.  I had already given him the consequence of having to sweep the garage for missing his ride to school.  He had to come up with another consequence for taking my wedding ring and his overall BAD behavior this morning.  He came up with taking his rainbow loom away for 2 days.  I was happy that I saw him run to my bedroom and throw this note away after our talk!!!


So I have to write a little bit more about this note. I got so many hugs and kisses from Cruz tonight.  He thinks I never saw the note and he was embarrassed by the note, he has a good heart, he just wrote this in the heat of the moment, he really didn't want me to ever see it because I couldn't even find where he threw it away. He has been so sweet since he has gotten home from school. I have to remember we all have bad moments and times and then it blows over, I love this boy so much my heart could burst!!!
